On our own to Salt Lake City - 446 miles

An early morning breakfast, then goodbyes as Bob & Kerry headed to LA & we headed off in the opposite direction to Salt Lake City. A good easy departure, only problem was the wind again was an absolute pain at times. Oh well, them's the breaks! We travelled thru' long long plains, then thru a mountain range north of St Gorge, great to be twisting & turning again. Temp got to 99F but didn't feel hot at all, a good breeze helps. We saw a lovely Lavender Farm about 35 miles before Salt Lake City. Beautiful vivid color.

Traffic was constant all the way, & got really heavy as we neared Salt Lake City. We did a quick tour around before finding a motel, not sure if we'll get to see the Mormon Tabernacle Temple - before we leave in the morning, we'll see what happens.

  1. Hey mum and dad. Awesome photos of the dam and Vegas and the Canyon and we wish we were there too. I can't wait to show Wynter the Cars photo in the morning.
The 4 of us went to Qld over the weekend to buy a car and have a long weekend in the sun too. We all had a great time. Car will arrive in about a week.
We miss you and love you.
love Kerri, Indy and Wynter & Jason

  3. Great, the first time I actually get a comment to work and its only a one liner!!

Awesome photos mum and dad. Greg was very jealous of your chopper ride over the Grand Canyon and that mum got to ride shotgun!!

Your hotel in LA looks very swish... Sounds like a great monorail tour.

Still can't quite believe that our parents have a blog, but what an awesome way to keep intouch and updated, love it!!

All good here, missing you both.

Love Pamela, Greg, Caden & Hunter xxx
