An early morning breakfast, then goodbyes as Bob & Kerry headed to LA & we headed off in the opposite direction to Salt Lake City. A good easy departure, only problem was the wind again was an absolute pain at times. Oh well, them's the breaks! We travelled thru' long long plains, then thru a mountain range north of St Gorge, great to be twisting & turning again. Temp got to 99F but didn't feel hot at all, a good breeze helps. We saw a lovely Lavender Farm about 35 miles before Salt Lake City. Beautiful vivid color.Traffic was constant all the way, & got really heavy as we neared Salt Lake City. We did a quick tour around before finding a motel, not sure if we'll get to see the Mormon Tabernacle Temple - before we leave in the morning, we'll see what happens.

ReplyDeleteThe 4 of us went to Qld over the weekend to buy a car and have a long weekend in the sun too. We all had a great time. Car will arrive in about a week.

Your hotel in LA looks very swish... Sounds like a great monorail tour.
